Procurement and Business Services (PBS), a department within Georgia Tech's Finance and Planning unit, supports the Institute’s financial operations by managing the purchasing and stewardship of goods and services, supplier payments, travel and expense administration, Purchasing Card (PCard) program, and more. Through these services, PBS helps ensure transactions are processed efficiently and in compliance with federal, state, and Institute policies while supporting the Institute’s strategic and operational goals.

PBS serves the Georgia Tech campus community, including faculty, staff, researchers, and administrative departments, providing guidance, tools, and systems that enable responsible stewardship of institutional resources. Through its work, PBS helps streamline business processes, strengthen vendor relationships, and maintain financial integrity across Georgia Tech. The organization is led by Executive Director Erin Mitchell, who provides strategic leadership and direction for PBS operations, partnering closely with campus stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support the evolving business needs of the Institute.
